With ice hockey danglers starting to grow in popularity for extra neck protection below the chin of a helmet/mask, the Euro Hockey League games highlighted this, in reflection of those goalkeepers participating. Mulheim's Reuss has been wearing one for quite some time, but it was also possible to spot Harvesthuder's first choice Walter with one attached to his headgear. Interestingly, he did not bother to tie up the middle area, with just ties on the sides of the dangler, leaving the middle of the helmet free for movement (but also free to create a gap in transit when moving around his D).
