Bailey and Smith make squad for French friendlies

With England looking to make the most of the international opportunities in the midway build up to Rio, the coaching management are giving a few of the A side starts against France in upcoming fixtures in March. Bailey will theoretically get the nod as first choice, building on his first cap achieved earlier in the season, with Pinner sitting out for the youngster to get the chance to gain more international match experience in his bid to step up to this level more permanently. Smith, highly ranked by the coaching staff, and now benching again as Fair steps back into the first eleven for Cannock, will be the reserve. But with the number of games, could see himself get his own first team experience aside from the Super Sixes and England A games he has had so far.
