Lovell switches to Brabo foam

[Edited thanks to whomever posted; clearly need to pay more attention to squad details right now, oops!]

An interesting spot from the HWL action was Tyler Lovell playing in Brabo foam. Having been a Mazon user and sponsee for a little while, I was intrigued to see him using them. Moreso because of the availability of Brabo in Australia I guess; the equivalent being say Stockmann switching to Mazon as a rubbish comparison, and with Lovell seeing more game time at the moment and given a chance to prove himself, is therefore a good signpost for potential future users of Mazon's kit. It appears coaching staff are still happy to offer goalie rotation to see how their ranked goalies perform at this level, with Charter presumably taking the helm once things get really serious for Rio.

Obviously elite level goalies find it easier to switch brands mid-season (international season in this case I guess) with their elevated skills and eye co-ordination skills, and the similar designs between the two brands should help. The Brabo is lightweight, a similar mould curve to the Mazon and should be good wearing but even so it is slightly 'off the curve'/'outfield'...

You can see him wearing them in the warm-up games versus England, courtesy of Peter Savage's great photos via the link:
