Although the January transfer window for the NOW Pension's hockey league has been especially quiet on the goalkeeping front, one that sounds out greatly is that of Ashley Watson going back down the road to his old club Doncaster. With new signing and preferred choice Jamie Cachia taking over as first choice in spite of some mixed results to start the season (which seemed pretty common with other teams it must be said), and despite proving himself in place of an injured Pinner with various cleans to the end of last season, Ash has made the decision to the club where he made his name. Donny will surely welcome him back with open arms after struggling without him in their line-up, whilst the extra experience gained from elite level training camps and games should help him push up the Northern division of the conference league.
