Reading's Barry Jukes also using ice hockey 'dangler'

With lexan 'danglers' used in ice hockey to protect goaltenders' necks, the extra neck protection available is proving popular with goalies in our sport, or at least, is starting to prove to be! With Sheffield Hallam's starting goalkeeper Jamie Cachia spotted using the set-up recently, as blogged about previously, another sighting is Reading's third choice goalkeeper (with Gary Nobles behind first choice James Bailey) making use of one. Combining well with his Mazon helmet/mask a lot like the set-up David Harte uses with his TK helmet, it gives him a bit of extra protection, safety and confidence in looking after that hard to cover but vulnerable spot in your kit.
