Simon Triggs: oldest registered EHL goalkeeper

Another random goalie fact is that Simon Triggs is still registered in the EHL and is the oldest keeper in town (and I think in all the elite domestic leagues around the world actually, hazarding a guess!) at 42. Still showing he's good the skills playing well into his years. A spare reserve if ever Canterbury needed someone to fill in between the sticks, Triggs has seen international action behind Simon Mason and was pretty good (he still is I'm sure!) around a decade ago. Tall and lanky (poor description!) and athletic like Mason, he obviously covers a lot of goal. He's been around a few clubs as research shows, but spent most of his time with Canterbury, where he's obviously back to now!
