Still haven't managed to get a close up view of the glove itself yet, but it would seem that the new Platinum glove in the TK range is a redesign of the TK Plus LHP, but with a thinner profile. The Plus glove originally was a lot thicker than the standard version, with a curved shape like that of the Obo hi control LHP, but seems to be a lot thinner now in its new format. Working with D3O would allow for this thinner design without the extra foam density whilst maintaining the same rebound qualities (if not theoretically better!). The new feature can be seen in photos of warm-ups at the World Cup:
