A blog for and about hockey goalkeepers and goalkeeping, trying to expand their coverage, given what a niche market it is! Was a little disappointed that there is nothing like this around so thought I'd have a bash at remedying that! Written with a slightly Gonzo journalistic approach. Thoughts and analysis of the elite. All opinions are my own; can't be bothered with anyone else's after all!

More EHL goalies in Mercian
Has been interested to note that there are more goalkeepers in the EHL wearing Mercian. I'm not sure if this is a push from their marketing team to get people sponsored and help push the brand, but interesting to see the use of the kit, with more diversity of brands in the national league. George Harris has made the switch from Obo this season, along with Chris Hibbert of Southgate changing the same brands. Jamie Legg and Andrew Isaacs have obviously been wearing Mercian since their entry into the league, along with James Fair. Pinner made the switch from Obo a while back and Phil Carr switched to Mercian on his return to Oxted from Loughborough. Will be interesting to see if brand usage filters down to other leagues.
