A blog for and about hockey goalkeepers and goalkeeping, trying to expand their coverage, given what a niche market it is! Was a little disappointed that there is nothing like this around so thought I'd have a bash at remedying that! Written with a slightly Gonzo journalistic approach. Thoughts and analysis of the elite. All opinions are my own; can't be bothered with anyone else's after all!

Legg starts against St Germain
Was interesting to note that Jamie Legg started against St. Germain in their game in the Euro Hockey League round 1.2 rather than James Bailey. I'm not sure whether this was simply to give him a run out at this level of hockey, considering if they thought it was an easier-win game, or whether it was to show uncertainty about who is their first choice, encouraging competition. Even so, I think a bit of competition wouldn't go amiss in aiding Bailey's development. If he has more competition, he'll have to up his game and play well consistently, which can only pay dividends in performance. Will be interesting to see who is chosen for the next EHL game coming up.
