Although it's been known by those ITK ("in the know" as they say in footie transfers), Havant's starter Isaacs has made the registration switch and is off to Bromley to play in the East conference, with Cowling having already joined the Hampshire side to ensure they have structure for their back four. It will be interesting to see how things develop for Bromley considering what Isaacs offers with his sweeper keeper style. Bromley already seem to press in this way with them counter-attacking and pushing up as such last season, and Taylor covering with a positioning right at the top of, and often outside, his D, but Isaacs offers something a little more with his approach to attacking multiple players on the breakaway and starting attacks by himself with the free hit self pass. Will be interesting to see the drop and punt make an appearance in the East division, with Mason now the only one doing so (the two capable being Isaacs and Mase!) in the West.
I have just come across this! How would you view the transition..?
ReplyDeleteStill didn't manage to watch you play in person, but seems like a seamless enough transition, especially with a strong season and your old team sadly getting relegated!
