Having left Den Bosch, as already noted in the Dutch media, it looks like Cortes is on his way back to his home club, Egara. The 30 year old international who is on international duty at the moment in the EuroHockey Championships. The following link provides more information via Spanish hockey essentially translating to "Cortes returns to Club Egara forever, after a season in the Dutch league for Den Bosch, the international and Olympian becomes a major boost for the team. Cortes, 30, is currently is currently playing in Belgium for Spain."
Hopefully this will mean that the strong performances he became well known for in the EHL will become the norm again, as he is back in home comforts and surroundings:
