Oops! Turns out I was wrong as usual!
So after a lot of digging, researching and navigating the complicated FIH website, it actually turns out that 18 year old Spencer Alan Reed is the second choice for the US men's team for now. I assume he's been brought up from the junior development squad. Good to see some young blood in between the sticks getting the chance to develop and be involved in the highest tiers of hockey.
