Just like Kettle's new scheme mentioned, Loughborough's Gibson has also switched. I think he was in a colour combo of yellow outer and green inners, which looked pretty spectacular with Loughborough's purple jerseys, and is now in a set with a deeper turqouise/blue outer and 'baby'/light blue inner. Interested to see Obo sponsored players/wearers, experimenting with colour combo options.
And of course, in the seriousness, as pointed out earlier, it's to do with wear and tear over a season and the need for new pads for rebound properties etc. And I think Gibson will be having a busy summer representing the U21's in international action.
