Reynaud signs with Canterbury

Another signing of international goalkeeper to a Premier league side is confirmed this weekend, with French goalkeeper Edgar Reynaud of Lyon hockey club, signing with Canterbury. Awarded best goalkeeper of the Junior Hockey World Cup last year, he is definitely one to watch out for and must be on the scouting list for the French senior side. Reynaud will have a great chance to impress this season, as well as push himself to his best in this arena of hockey, and with some strong performances under his belt could easily develop into the French equivalent of David Harte (i.e. young international goalkeeper...).

Having said that, he already impressed when given a runout during the Five Feathers at East Grinstead. Earning himself the MotM award playing against the home side, he is already drawing praise for his goalkeeping displays.

Action photos were a bit of a giveaway that he was going to be signing on the dotted line, but adds some depth to the transfer gossip, giving that those involving himself and Pereira were non-existent until now.
