A less than important kit sighting change (there aren't may to report on!) as Maddie Hinch is starting to wear the current Obo elbow pads. Hinch normally wears ice hockey elbow pads with a slimmer profile, mainly just to purely protect the elbow bone (not sure which brand), but was seen wearing them for a game with her team Leicester at the weekend, as well as at GB training camp. Different to the hard plastic shell of the ice hockey pads, they arguably offer more protection to the arm area around the elbow, as well as flexibility for those reaction saves and movement for glove saves.
