Three goalkeepers in current Dutch squad!

Looks like Holland are making the most of their current crop (almost a glut given how much depth they have!) of goalkeeping talent. I think they are the only nation including three goalkeepers in their squad for international action at the moment. There's Stockmann, Blaak and then der Ven. Der Ven obviously having taken over from Vogels straight away after he retired from HGC and country. Stockmann is starting to make the first spot his own after looking like he was shaky and unsure a while ago, but has really been pushing his performances and displaying world class talent, arguing his case for a shout at the world's best right now, especially with his superman performance in recent Champions Trophy action. Nipping at his heels is Pirmin Blaak who is continuing his rise up the ranks after turning heads in Euro and club action when he pushed out Vismaan out of Rotterdam's squad, before showcasing his talents in U21 and junior world action about four years ago. Adding to this battle is Sam van der Ven, giving Holland a third choice with a goalkeeper who has also played in the Euro Hockey League and obviously regularly in the Hoofdklasse. Great to see a nation have such talent and competition, which can only be a good thing for the goalkeepers and their country as they battle it out to see who's best!
