A blog for and about hockey goalkeepers and goalkeeping, trying to expand their coverage, given what a niche market it is! Was a little disappointed that there is nothing like this around so thought I'd have a bash at remedying that! Written with a slightly Gonzo journalistic approach. Thoughts and analysis of the elite. All opinions are my own; can't be bothered with anyone else's after all!

EHL transfers
There have been a few interesting transfers in the EHL (that is the England hockey league, not the euro competition)! Nick Brothers has retired after failing to get into the GB squad this past Olympics, leaving Jamie Legg in charge of Reading's defence. Wales international David Kettle has moved to Surbiton seeing as he wasn't going to overtake Richard Potton who was the clear first choice, immediately being inserted into the squad as first choice there. Kettle was a joy to watch at EG and it will be interesting to see how well ge does as he pushes for further international honours. That leaves Chris Bristow departing the club (rumours have him being a player coach elsewhere), whilst Surbiton show their faith in second choice Tommy Alexander, a former Scotland U21s. Greg Lewis has registered with Guildford, offering competition there for the number one shirt. Competition increases for Exeter as Todd Dudley joins from Birmingham.
