With various international games under way, with build up to the Commonwealth Games, World Cup and so on, there have been a few worthy sightings of the new TK platinum range on show. For instance, with South Africa's Rassie Pieterse who has made the switch to the new D3O based kit very recently. There are a few photos doing the rounds, as follow, for example:
From a beady eyed and commentary perspective, it looks as if the foam isn't exactly hard wearing, given the breakout splits already. Which for the price band is a little scary. Not too be overly critical or bitchy, but just to point out that it's a definite room for improvement if happens to be the case. Pieterse has since changed back to using the Soft leg guards instead of the P1 legs, with the P1 kickers to go with them.
