Not a massive sighting, but the WHL round stage at the moment has provided an interesting equipment sighting. Pakistan's start Imran Shah and Subramaniam for Malaysia are both using a different piece of kit to normal (or, at least, since I last saw them!). The two TK foam wearers are also making use of the Brabo lhp. The glove is supposed to have quite a ping to the rebound (especially and is popular in Holland (Brabo are a Dutch brand anyway!); with Pirmin Blaak using it, alongside Stockmann and Jenniskens, but is interesting to see it being used abroad.
You can see Shah using the glove here:
And also for Subramaniam, as the clip will demonstrate:
Would be interesting to know their thoughts and analysis and what inspired the changeover. The glove has a typical flat face unlike Obo's version which is designed to bring the ball down and away for kicking clear and also a large face and strong rebound. Good to see goalkeepers mixing up their kit according to their playing styles, as not all equipment produced by particular companies always fit the specific attributes of certain playing styles down to a tee.
