Pinnegar to Cannock

A goalkeeper transfer in-season, rather than one made in the offseason, sees Tom Pinnegar make the switch down the road to Cannock. The same club he was at for a small while before his time at the University of Birmingham (he was third choice then; stuck behind the duo of James Fair and Patrick Smith), he is going to be keen to make the starting position his own. Back from a stint playing for Altona over in Australia, both he and his new club will be hoping that this extra season stint hasn't worn him out too much and that his form will carry over into the 'big leagues' of the Prem. This is a good move by Cannock to bolster their goalkeeping department (with quite a few clubs struggling actually at the moment in that area), and only time will tell whether Cannock will choose to stick with Forrester or see a fight from Pinnegar to keep the starts.
