Wimbledon's starter Tom Millington has helped another team he has played for (sort of an interesting fact I guess!), in almost the same time frame of years (well, 2011 playoff tournament and then 2013!). Having already helped Exeter University to promotion, the youngster (still young in goalkeeping terms as well as life!) has gone on to help the Surrey based side into the Premier league for their first ever time, having been promoted from the South Regional Premier league about three years ago. Developing into a strong, elite goalkeeper, after helping Exeter to the same status (wherein Rea took over between the sticks after Millington left for Wimbledon), he looks like he'll do a good job helping Wimbledon battle it out to stay up, after helping them win the league in a down-to-the-wire battle with Kent side Holcombe this season just gone. Millington has been getting a lot of positive commendations lately, with ex-Olympian Chris Hibbert saying that one of his recent performances was the best by a goalkeeper in a long time and should be even better as he gets more experience under his belt.
