Cowling gets his third consecutive start

Ben Cowling seems to have got the nod over fellow goalkeeping compatriot Diccon Stubbings at their club Canterbury. With rumours/whisperings about his involvement with the team, interesting to see him getting now regular games. They are interestingly the only club to have rotated goalkeepers (Smith deputised for a game against Surbiton as noted before, but as far as I know has not played more than one game), with the exception of Indian Gym with Tommy Alexander getting the run of starts over other choice Qas Mir. Interesting to see this happen so late during a season. Maybe it is down to Cowling hitting his stride in goalkeeping terms thanks to his age and level of games at national league level to draw upon, with Cowling's experience and maturity and theoretically strengthening the defence, helping Canterbury get two wins out of their recent string of games, considering the score lines under Stubbing of late.
