Storry retires from international hockey

Among news of other retirees after the London Olympics campaign, Beth Storry (can never tell if that's the correct spelling of her name!), the GB number 1, has announced her retirement from the women's international team. Having competed in two Olympics, and played for Reading in the premier league, her vast experience and shot stopping abilities gave her commendations as being one of, if not, the world's best, in recent years. Her performances suitably were important and had more of an impact than say the Argentinean's who won gold. Storry made the switch to Obo for London, having played in Monarch kit for most of her career and her retirement will pave the way for the likes of Maddie Hinch who has been waiting in the wings and stating her case as a suitable replacement.
