A blog for and about hockey goalkeepers and goalkeeping, trying to expand their coverage, given what a niche market it is! Was a little disappointed that there is nothing like this around so thought I'd have a bash at remedying that! Written with a slightly Gonzo journalistic approach. Thoughts and analysis of the elite. All opinions are my own; can't be bothered with anyone else's after all!

Manchester selected for New Zealand
Devon Manchester has been selected for the Black Sticks, with first choice Pontifex and second choice Stephen Graham not selected. The 23 year old has been given the chance to prove himself at full international level, joining fellow custodian Hamish McGregor. Manchester, having played for the U21s in the junior world cup gone, has had a breakthrough season helping Howick Packuranga win their first ever Auckland title and won the NHL with Auckland Fury. Seems like onwards and upwards as he potentially battles McGregor for the starting jersey.
