Struggling to find info on who was getting the starts after the blockbuster move of Ible to Cardiff (his playing experience combining to see them maintain the league top spot and help with their promotion plans for Ible to see a return to the Premier league), seeing their starter-at-the-time Ben Dudley move further south to Gloucester side Cheltenham to look for game time. And with Cheltenham already having veteran starter Giles Rooke in between the sticks at the start of the season, being their incumbent for quite some time, it was questionable whether Dudley would get the chance to jump straight into action, or if management would wait for a chance for Rooke to slip up and justify the change more greatly (i.e. the difficulty of managing the decision, dressing room politics and backing, and practically with the back four dealing with a changing goalkeeper i.e. De Gea/Lindegaard and Freidel/Lloris). Going by recent action photography, it seems Dudley is getting the nod for now (it will be interesting to see if this leads to Rooke's retirement etc.), with results proving he is more than capable of being there, helping them avoid the drop, with other teams slipping off the pack in the West conference very recently.
