India's current men's coach Michael Nobbs has said in interviews, that he would like a suitable GK specific coach to work with his goalkeeping options. Who would come in would be an interesting thought considering available options. It's not unheard of for non-domestic coaches to offer their assistance; Martin Drijver has obviously done coaching in Spain and with the Argentinian national setup, so another well known coach doing the same isn't an impossible task. Critics and commentators for India have spoken quite often about how they feel Indian goalkeepers need their technique updating for the modern game, comparing and contrasting with the European styles they could learn from, and bringing in adequate support for that role would definitely help them sure up their ranks, especially as they are looking for a suitable starter after Adrian D'Souza's fall from grace. Who will be that option is of curiosity, but it is definitely something India should look into if they wish to develop, from the back out especially so! Last line of defence and all that and they say you build your team from the back with an elite goalkeeper there to start with!
