Vivaldi STILL starting for Argentina!

So just as I thought Vivaldi might retire for others to get the chance to play, he carries on regardless! And when I thought touted Espinosa might get the nod, it's actually Bermejllo (as recently blogged about), that is chosen as the reserve for the international team. He (Vivaldi!)'s been a rock in their defence, playing a crucial role in their ability to make the Olympics alongside the female team, as they bounced back from not making the previous Olympics qualification in a all-counts game against New Zealand.

The following clip is a classic game against Netherlands where he kept his time in it numerous times, making some key saves, especially against short corners:

As you can see here from the team sheets:

Andrey Rocke is noticably still starting for Trinidad in spite of getting on in years! Interested to see how long he retains the starting spot!

Edit: but to add to the total confusion (as always, as I'm finding!) of media outlets in hockey not stating everything, it looks like Vivaldi was on the bench and not starting as the team photo after they won promotion suggests!

Additional edit: scratch that! Team sheets confirm they actually split starts!!
