A blog for and about hockey goalkeepers and goalkeeping, trying to expand their coverage, given what a niche market it is! Was a little disappointed that there is nothing like this around so thought I'd have a bash at remedying that! Written with a slightly Gonzo journalistic approach. Thoughts and analysis of the elite. All opinions are my own; can't be bothered with anyone else's after all!

East Grinstead win title for the fifth time
East Grinstead won at the weekend, bringing their tally of indoor topping status to five, beating Reading 7-1 in the final of the Maxifuel Super Sixes. Was interesting to note Neusser got the start against Reading in the final, I guess giving Potton a rest for the indoor season and making use of the Czech international's wealth of indoor tournament experience. Beeston went down 12-4 to Reading with Pinner wearing a mix of kit (mainly Mercian, Monarch LHP) and Monarch labelled pad covers as he waits on his new Monarch kit, confirming he's made the change of kit providers. Holcombe recently won the Division One round-robin which will obviously see them promoted to the indoor premier league next indoor season and will be interesting to see if this translates to their outdoor game as they push for promotion.
