A blog for and about hockey goalkeepers and goalkeeping, trying to expand their coverage, given what a niche market it is! Was a little disappointed that there is nothing like this around so thought I'd have a bash at remedying that! Written with a slightly Gonzo journalistic approach. Thoughts and analysis of the elite. All opinions are my own; can't be bothered with anyone else's after all!

Ratcliffe to Doncaster
George Ratcliffe makes the switch from Sheffield to Doncaster in the latest EHL transfer gossip. With Ashley Watson, who performed admirably in his time at Doncaster, moving to Beeston to provide cover when Pinner is away on England duty, leaving Doncaster without a strong starter, Ratcliffe has presumably made the switch to get the opportunity to be a starter. With James Cachia in front of him at Sheffield, the former Welsh junior international will have more chance of cutting his teeth on national league action.
